HEINZ
Gorgeous German 14" white mohair bear with bellows movement circa 1920/1930. Retains a good amount of mohair although he has sparse patches on his tummy where his musical squeeze box is positioned and the mohair has worn from his face. He has two small worn areas on his left hand paw pad and general colour discolouration around his left eye but apart from that he is a strong little fellow. Email for any more info or pictures.

George is a lovely white mohair ted probably German from the 30's. Height 11" he retains I would say at least 95% mohair has glass eyes and is filled with wood carvings and kapok, original paw pads. Squeaker no longer works but otherwise in wonderful condition Gus is his faithful lifetime canine companion and he is just 6.5" in height with jointed head so he can always keep an eye on his master.

STEIFF 'MAX' OR 'MARCUS' SAILOR
DOLL C. 1910 WITH BUTTON
Rare to find, this is a lovely Steiff doll who still retains his FF button in his left ear. Approx. 13" height he is still wearing his original white and blue striped muslin sailor suit with matching hat, red felt shoes and one sock (like most boys and men it would be a very rare thing to find that they actually had a matching pair!!). He has a swivel head and legs and arms are jointed. He has a small hole on the left side of his chin and his arms, face, ears and legs have faded over the years but the remainder of his body is still clean. Outfit is also worn but all in all for a little boy of nearly 100 years old he is in good condition.

FARNELL SOLDIER BEAR Wonderful example of a WW1 Farnell Soldier Bear. These tiny 3.5" bears were given by loved ones to soldiers going off to war to keep in their pockets - their eyes are set high so when sitting in a pocket they look up to your face. Their legs and arms are pin jointed and head is also jointed. This little one will arrive on your door step with his own vintage luggage. These are becoming rarer to find and are highly sought after and collectable.

YVETTE
Poor Yvette - how she misses viva La France as she is definitely of French origin - possibly Fadap? Here she is looking over the English Channel wondering if she will ever see her homeland again. Although she has no fur she is still "tres chic" and is wearing her favourite jacket to keep her warm. She will not reveal her age but she is filled with wood carvings, her legs and arms are wire jointed amd she has linen paws and feet so I think she is pretty old - she has a hole in one of her feet but apart from that she is a lovely strong lady.

JASMINE - 1930'S 24" GERMAN PINK BEAR
This bear is just stunning - and a very vocal one as well. She still retains a very good amount of pink mohair, is woodwool filled, has glass eyes, black stitched nose and mouth and felt paw pads. She has two very special features, one is her amazing hump and her working growler which has to be heard to be believed! This one is very special.

RARE 1950 CHILTERN TEDDY CLOWN
Super bear and very rare to find. Approx. 19" height, with white mohair to his body and head and pink mohair for his arms, legs, ears and pom poms. Fully jointed, glass eyes, rexine paw pads which have flaked but nevertheless are original. His white mohair looks very white in the picture but this is due to a nice sunny day (probably the only one this year!) and he could really do with a gentle wash and I am sure he will look beautiful. Good mohair coverage with just a bit of sparseness here and there and there seem to be some tiny white flecks on his right arm but these may come out if he is cleaned. Ribbon is not original but I think it suits him.

ROCKY - 1930'S GOLDEN MERRYTHOUGHT
I have to say this is one of my favourites - he is so cute. What he lacks in the fur department he more than makes up for with that gorgeous face and cheeky smile. He is approx. 20" in height, has amber and glass black eyes, vertically stitched nose with dropped edges, cloth pads, webbed claw stitching to his paw pads, black claw stitching to his foot pads and most important of all he still has his original label on his foot and perhaps even more important the yellow celluloid button in his ear. I have given him a gentle clean and he is super soft and huggable. I would mention that he could do with a minor repair around his neck and head socket as his disc is slightly exposed by about 1" but this can easily be done. Will arrive at his new home in his favourite outfit.

TILLY - 10" C. 1915 IDEAL BEAR
Tilly is a cutie pie but a little shy. Despite being one of the hottest days of the year she still insisted on having her picture taken with her favourite dress and underwear! I think she found the whole experience a bit overwhelming. Anyway she is a lovely girl, with lovely blond mohair retaining I would say at least 85% the loss being around her head (front and back). She has black button eyes and twill nose which has faded to brown (which actually makes her face very appealing). All her pads are professional replacements and I believe her claws and mouth stitching are also replacements. A very strong little bear considering she's nearly 90 years old.

BECKY - RARE WHITE MUSICAL KNICKERBOCKER BEAR
This is a lovely girl in very good condition and made in sought after white mohair - bears in this colour, age and condition are always hard to find. She dates from around the late 1930's and is a nice 17" having original glass eyes (the left one has cracked and has been glued), black stitched nose and mouth and velvet pads. Key wind musical movement plays Rock A Bye Baby and is in excellent tuneful order! A little wear of fur around the key but otherwise excellent coverage.

CLOONEY - 1934/36 GOLDEN STEIFF WITH BUTTON & WORKING GROWLER
This is a lovely golden Steiff called Clooney. He is approx. 17", still has his button in ear with tiny remnants of the yellow tag and best of all he is still extremely vocal with a wonderful working growler. He has mohair loss in all the usual places but still retains a good coverage. Pads replaced a long time ago , replaced nose stitching, a few tummy stitches but nothing serious . Great bear with a wonderful face.
