Oh dear, I need to find this dear old swan a home real quick. Our local council have been draining the local lagoon where he used to live and all his friends have flown away and found a new lake but this dear one cannot fly as his wings are stitched to his side. He has waddled along those nasty pebbles on the beach looking for his friends and seeking new lodgings but to no avail. He is just so adorable - will someone please give him a new home. Dating to the 1930's he has some wear and loss of fur here and there, wings are wool plush with black mohair trimming, velvet beak and web feet, glass eyes. Gently squeeze his underside and he will play a tune for you which is nice and clear. He measures approx. 11 inches long and 12 inches tall.

HAPPIEST PIGGY YOU WILL EVER SEE !
Gosh, we just love this one - his wonderful face will brighten your dullest day. Probably dating to the 1930's he is 11 inches tall, body is hard filled and head woodwool filled, non jointed, fantastic felt lined ears, snout and squiggly tail, glass eyes with black stitched mouth (half of which is loose and this gives him a real quirky smile). Velvet jacket which is attached to him with little silver star style studs and red felt velvet collar and patches on his jacket.

RARE 1920'S TIPPED YES/NO SCHUCO ELEPHANT
This is just adorable, a very rare 1920's Schuco yes/no elephant in fab condition for age. Great tipped fur retention with a little loss being on the front inside of his rear right leg, googly type eyes, felt tusks, velvet feet with the back two being card lined. height approx. 8 inches. Yes/no mechanism works very well.

MARY - VERY VERY VERY VERY RARE RED ELEPHANT
WOW, I have rarely seen such a beautiful example as this - so special is Mary that she is featured on the Vintage Bears and Vintage Animals Sections. I have only seen one like her before. She is just amazing - circa 1910 she is covered in masses of vibrant short red mohair, fully jointed, button eyes, woodwool filled with card lined feet. The fur has worn away at the bottom of her trunk exposing the wiring and there is slight fading to the left legs and a little on the trunk. Wearing a lovely cream ribbon with a vintage pinback saying "Mary Had A Little Calf". I am not sure I can part with her but the promise of a good home might persuade me.

There's always one black sheep in the family !! Been rejected by his family we have taken him in and now hope to find him a family - either with other black sheep or white ones - he really doesn't mind. Non jointed, he stands approx. 13" tall and approxl. 8" long. His coat is made from the curly wool used on vintage coats and collars in the 1940's. Inside of ears are lined in pink cotton and he has blue felt eyes and pink stitched nose.

TUSKANY - VINTAGE VELVET ELEPHANT
Wonderful early velvet elephant, circa 1910. In nice condition with tusks, tail and eyes but I believe he probably had some surrounds around the button eyes. Wearing a gorgeous burgundy velvet blanket with pretty lace edging and bells - I have one bell that just needs re-attaching but there is one missing. He has some wear and marking and on the bottom of his right front leg there is a repair with glue. I think the lining in his ears and under his blanket have stained these areas to a dark grey - not visible unless you take a peek! A few stitches on his tummy - but he's a strong old elephant and rather cute.

Just a little cutie pie here - this is her favourite time of year - lovely cold icy weather and she is hoping for snow (so are we but for Christmas day only!) produced between 1952-56 she is 10cms tall and has button nestled firmly under her wing with yellow tag (number illegible). In very good condition.

Just swinging into Pebble Beach Bears we are delighted to offer Mungo for adoption. He is a 1930's Merrythought 13" monkey - he is in good condition, jointed and all limbs and head move freely, nice fur coverage, card lined feet with label on right foot. The velvet on his face, paws and feet are a little dirty but fabric is still strong with no holes or tears. Wearing a harness so that you can keep him in tow until he gets used to swinging around in his new surroundings. Take a look at that cheeky face - certain to make you smile.

Absolutely adorable, this is a Steiff Snuffy Fox, c. 1974 in mint condition with all ID's. Made from soft plush he is unjointed and measures 6" from the tip of his ears to the tip of his toes. Really cute!

Sweet little Steiff Peggy Penguin - she's lost her id's probably on her long swim from the North Pole but there is a thread on her chest where tag would have been. Made between 1952-1956 and just 4" tall she is in very good condition with just a small mark on her right foot and nose.
